How auto-blocking works:
  • Any IP hitting a rate limit (429) is tracked in a 10-minute window.
  • After 5 violations within that window, the IP is permanently blocked for this session.
  • Blocked IPs receive 403 Access Denied for all requests.
  • Pre-block IPs via BLOCKED_IPS=1.2.3.4,5.6.7.8 in your .env file.
  • Blocks reset on server restart (in-memory). Use BLOCKED_IPS for persistent blocks.
